Metropolis

Emerging from the outskirts of Denmark, consisting of 5 man and 2 women, folkrockers Metropolis mix elements of European, American and Latin American folk traditions with bits of cabaret and indierock. With a fondness of the theatrical and epic madness of bands such as Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (AUS), Devotchka (US), Tindersticks (UK) and Jack the Ripper (FR), the band uses instruments such as cello, saxophone, accordion and glockenspiel to support the traditional rock instruments along with lots of backing vocals and percussion.
