Merceneri Records is a global Independent music label which specializes in Management, Recordings, Distributions, Graphic Design, CD Duplication, Events, and Representation of Musical Artists. We specialize in Hip/Hop, Mexican Rap, Latin Rap, Chicano Rap, and Regional Mexican Music. We have a targeted market in physical sales as well as Digital sales in Japan, Europe, Mexico, Uk, and here in the United States. Our music is currently being distributed in over 500 digital stores, 86 Countries, and 97% of all mobile companies world wide.
Merceneri Records was founded in April 2005, by Ernesto "Pelon" Neri and his wife. On that same year Merceneri Records signs their first artist "Prhome & Mr. Ace" which release their first album called "Italianos Intocables" after this release the founder decided to expand Merceneri Records and decided to contact various producers from different parts of the world which collaborated and also help produce 12 CD releases by the end of 2006!. Some of them include: Akel "Mexico", A.K.A. Burrito "Italy", Tiz on Records "France", Orijnal Click "Spain/France", and various producers here in the U.S. By the time this releases starting hitting a commercial market distributors where already requesting them in Japan, Europe, and Mexico. Merceneri Records has been featured on two front page news articles from one of Italy's most important news paper as being one of the few independent music labels that has ever open International markets as an Independent music label and also as one of the labels that help the rap movement in Italy by exposing the Italian rap scene in California. In 2010 Ernesto "Pelon " Neri had a full page interview on "Groove Magazine" one of the best and most important magazines through Europe.
