MELT!Festival

Melt! from a distance: A bright ball of fire, a burning
inferno, surrounded by the lake Gremmin and
the silence of the night. Indescribably beautiful.
Up close, revealed an extraordinary microcosm
between loud and quiet, guitars and beats,
industry and nature. Melt! puts together what
belongs together only at this magical place Ferropolis
- the city of iron. And when the sun rises
between the steel giants, which once supplied
the East of Germany with coal, we all get this
Melt! feeling.
For the 14th edition Melt! brings
together enthusiastic music lovers with their
new and old heroes. No surprise that amongst
the 20,000 visitors on can find a large and growing
number of foreign visitors which adds to the
international flair of the festival. They are many
and they come from all continents of the world. In
2009 and 2010 alone Melt! fans and media representatives
traveled from over 30 countries to experience
what cannot be found anywhere else.
