Known for his golden voice, witty flow, swagger, creativity and versatility, MelloDayz has managed to build a fast and growing fan base. The New York born emcee with Jamaican roots is determined to leave his mark in the hip hop culture and industry. Mello provides a connecting stage presence with consistent hit songs with a "pretty boy" image that the women seem to love. Mello is rising from the underground sector to the mainstream. Appearing on several mixtapes his name quickly circulated in the streets. While performing at numerous college events and hip hop showcases, the public has embraced his style and lyrics. Mello focused on being consistent and bringing his own flavor to the game. He has also appeared on public access television and radio stations.
During his adolescent years Mello was involved in a lot of negativity. Surrounded by gangs and drug dealers he found himself becoming a product of his surroundings getting into trouble at school and dodging the law. He stated "I didn't have to go to the zoo to see the wildlife." After many close encounters with the law and rivals Mello started to withdraw from that lifestyle. He said "every great man had a vision" so he named himself MelloDayz because those were the kind of days he wanted to see. Spending more time on his lyrics than in the streets music helped him escape from the dark path he was traveling. Mello started writing songs and taking his music career serious when he was 19.



MelloDayz aka "The Pretty Rapper" incorporates what he lives, lived, seen, or did into his rhymes. Labeled a commercial rapper he has captured different groups of people. Working with A&R's and producers from Australia and the United States, His mixtape is currently available on his myspace page (myspace.com/mellodayznyc) and on the streets of Alabama, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Australia and soon all over! He's been compared to having the creativity of Ludacris and the swagger of Fabolous.
