[Melk] plays its first gig during a Festival in Grenoble, their hometown in October 2000 where they perform a set with video projections and after a few other gigs , the band then start to work on its artistic project

[Melk] releases its 1st album in 2002 produced by label "Un Dimanche". The album soon gains support from the network of University radios (Iastar partnership), their single "The Unseen" and "Pour de semblant" is thus on airplay all over France. "Le mouv'" French indi-pop radio also diffuses their singles during May and June 2002.



SUper 8



[Melk] started recording its second album "Super 8" in 2004.

SUper 8 is distributed nationally (France) by musicast and has been largely welcomed by the French national press. Frome indie press abroad as well: Spain, (Go Mag), USA (The big Take Over, NY), Greece (Rock'ROll), Austria (SKug) and Canada The band also signed a distribution licence agreement with AS Pinguin in Greece (Label distributing Sigur Ros, and the UK Fat Cat records label catalogue).



[Melk] performed about 35 shows in 2005 in Bordeaux, Marseille, Paris (Batofar), Grenoble, Clermont, St Etienne .
