Meli Rivera es una cantante, guitarrista y compositora puertorriqueña de descendencia irlandesa y siria. Su pasión y su proeza poética se hacen evidentes en su gusto musical y sus diversas influencias culturales. Iniciada en la música desde la edad de 5 años, su vida siempre ha girado alrededor del arte y la música, y a la vez con un profundo compromiso social en favor de los derechos humanos- para lo cual la música ha resultado ser un valioso puente. A través de sus grabaciones (seis cds en total) y sus presentaciones en vivo, Meli une artistas de diferentes culturas e intereses. Recientemente ha sido pionera en realizar una fusión entre la música Celta y Latina (Celtorriqueña) resultando en un renacimiento de melodías y ritmos que evocan un tiempo distante de misticismo, arte y espiritualidad. Sus presentaciones en vivo cautivan a todos aquellos que buscan una combinación única de destreza musical y el arte de hilvanar historias. Es también productora de conciertos experimentales de música cubana, chilena, venezolana, celta, árabe y española.
