In the year 2002, four long time friends began their journey on the music scene by forming a band entitled 'Mediocre.' Debuting with their first original 'Live Wire,' the band decided that playing original music prevailed over playing someone else's (they started as a Nirvana cover band.) Evolving over the past five years, Mediocre has grown into what it is today. Their music is driven by the relentless beating upon the drum kit of Corey Bruce. This onslaught of percussion is accompanied by the flowing rhythm of Andrew Anzalone's thundering bass guitar. Bruce Allman's lead licks come off robotic, while both preceding and following powerhouse riffs. At the forefront, vocals performed by Eddie Goldschmidt range from soothing melodies, to in your face. Hailing from the outskirts of St. Louis, Missouri, they've played the most prominent venues in the area."
