She is a dangerous MC having won various slams and Heavy London MC Battles, a tough London-Irish girl who is afraid of absolutely no one!" says the Globalizer Website - one of London's true underground communities.
Angel's conscious rhymes and unique rhythmic flows have left a permanent stamp on London's thriving live Hip-hop scene. Angel started as a poet performing her original pieces at London's Soho Theatre collaborating with some of Britain's most skilled poets, moulding the Foundations for her piercing lyrical skill.
Angel's first taste of hip-hop was at Lyric Pad where They held the UK first all female MC battle. She tore the other girls to pieces with a fresh conscious style and ability to seduce the ever critical audience. Angel built a name on this and went on to host one of Lyric Pads highly successful all female nights.

Being a trained performance artist, performance poet, rapper and dancer. I feel truly blessed to have learned to express myself creatively. And it is even more of a blessing to be able to share everything I have learnt with so many people. We live in such a beautiful world

"t’s been a joy to watch MC Angel develop as a poet over the last few months. She did a new piece on Saturday that was obviously very personal to her, so much so that she had a little moment and had to brush away a tear. She wasn’t the only one. A performer who is prepared to lay herself so bare for an audience is incredible and everyone in that room felt really priviledged to be there. And it wasn’t some self-indulgent wank fest if that;’s what you’re thinking Mr Cynical. Nor was it preachy or naval-gazy or anything that can associated with that kind of deeply personal poetry. It was a moment of collective empathy, a rare merging of souls in a wanky part of town. I loved it."
