From past to present:

1982: I was born. With my Dad’s passion for music in my blood, I immediately fell in love with music as a child. I came up listening to R&B classics like Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and The Stylistics.

1988: My adoration for Hip-Hop began. Particular influences included LL Cool J, The Fat Boys, Kool G Rap, and Rahkeem.

1994: I started to write my own raps.

1996: Rap became a serious part of my life and I did several freestyle raps on local DJ’s mixtapes.

1998: Did local talent shows and competitions; anything to get out there, get noticed and meet people with similar interests as my own.

1999: Got introduced to beat-making and fell in love with the art. I made my first beats with a Zoom Track 123. I’d beatbox for my friends. I would make beats with whatever I could get my hands on and got really good at it.

2000: I met a friend who had a studio in his house. He had an MPC 2000 Triton Record Hardware and Software. He schooled me on everything I needed to know.

2002: Did beats for local artists.

2003: I started to make a name for myself in the streets. People always wanted beats from me.

2006: Joined a label called El Chain Records. Two partners and I made beats for artists.

2007: El Chain dropped their debut album Worldwide. The streets love it.

Inspirations:

I have many inspirations and influences, but particular influences include: Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, The Rza, Pete Rock, Hi-Tek, Cool and Dre. And the list continues…

Local Artists I’ve worked with include:

Tug McGraw, GQ, Jinx the Rhyme Sayer, King Magnetic, QashQai, Jay Brody, Jimmy Breaks, Cain EZ, MB of cut ent

I’ve also produced for Ransom.

I try to work with, and have worked with any artists that have a buzz in my city.

Future Goals:

To say that I plan to be the greatest producer in the world may sound arrogant and unattainable. But it’s not. I possess the skills, desire, ambition, and determination to be just that. I’m a hustler at heart with music pumping through my veins. Given the opportunity, I can prove to the world that my goals, as grueling and difficult as they will be to achieve, are attainable. I have the talent, the desire and the will to take my career to the top of the industry. I’m asking for an opportunity to it.
