Mayday! Mayday!

We are Mayfield from the sunny shores of southern California. There are two of us- Rich and Paul- and we love music. Mayfield came together in 2004 in the pursuit of creating and performing music that we like to listen to ourselves.



So the story goes like this: in 2004, Rich Yodsukar and Paul Emerson created the band Mayfield Heights. That year and under that name we independently released the EP, "Whatever It Takes" and toured in support of it. In 2006 after much deliberation, we decided to change our name to Mayday! Mayday! to avoid name similarity. We released the EP, "37" under that moniker and then in 2007 set out on a national tour in support of that release.



And now in 2009, we give you MAYFIELD. We are going back to our roots to share with you more of what we love. In March 2009 we gave you Heart Attack. And now we are excited to offer you HAPPY. We know you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it for you.
