Maximilian Skiba

Maximilian Skiba is a polish producer who began his musical journey in 2005 on Boxer Records / Cologne with the successful "Rendez-Vous Over Mars" EP, that has landed into legendary dutch CBS Top 100. His remix for Dutch Rhythm Combo was voted as a remix of 2007 by Polish National Radio BIS. One year later Max featured "Astigmatic Inspired By Chopin Compilation", that was created especially because of 200th anniversary of composer.
At the end of 2009 another Skiba's ep (feat. G.Rizo from Gigolo fame) was relased on Paris based Skylax Records. "The Genius of Max Skiba" has received a bounch of excellent reviews worldwide. French magazine Trax voted it 9/10 also Porcys.com has listed it as one of the best singles of 2009 and one of most important polish singles relased between the years 2000 and 2009. The track called "Monster" joined the exclusive Mylo's mix in the february's issue of british MixMag and has been used during London Fashion Week.
In the beggining of this year Max collaborated with polish singer Novika on her second "Lovefinder" LP. The LP was one of top 10 selling records in the beggining of 2010 in Poland and won Fryderyk-award (biggest polish music price). His co-remix for "Hall of Shame" released few months later on Gomma was charted by Erol Alkan, Aeroplane, Pilooski and was included onto January's issue of MixMag compilation by Jaymo n Andy George from BBC Radio One with best club tunes of 2010!
Max created also The KDMS group with neo-disco diva Kathy Diamond from Sheffield/UK. Their first single "Never Stop Believing" has been remixed by living NY dj-legend Nicky Siano (resident of legendary Studio 54!) and has got worldwide support from radios and famous names like Auroplane and Ashley Beedle to name a few. Polish radio Roxy has listed the track as one of the best songs of 2009!
Their second single "High Wire" was even bigger. The weird video made for the track has hit over 20 000 views on YouTube in the first weeks after release and has conquered many blogs worldwide. Single features Hugo Boss Tracks Compilation and Hed Kandi Electric Summer Compilation. The KDMS is will put out full lenght release in few months !
At the end of the last year Max has collaborated with the amazing singer Snax on "One To Pray To EP" out on british Under The Shade. The title-song has featured Air France march/april 2011 playlist available on all long-haul flights by the company!
