Matilda Badagard

Matilda Badagard, born 1984, is a singer born in Stockholm, Sweden. She's a singer/songwriter influenced by classic american songwriters like Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen as well as jazz and Swedish music. She is currently working on new songs and this page will soon be updated.
2008-2009 Matilda lived in Rio de Janeiro, where she picked up the traditional music such as samba, forro and samba reaggae. For 5 years she has been singing in the band A CASA TOCA, that makes traditional samba mixed with pop music. In january, they recorded their debut album in Rio.
