MataSiete

He is a brand new breed of MC; mixing street rap with clever punchlines, spitting battle rhymes, oozing unique flows along with ridiculous wordplay and metaphors, all in bi-lingual bars'n'hooks that weave in-and-out of the Spanish and English language like a tightly-knit pair of jammies that your grandmother made, if she was a rapper with a tongue-in-cheek style who is never afraid to poke fun at one's own ego, best homie, significant other or worst enemy.

He is a working man's MC who hails from the bankrupt, washed up, heroin addled, crack rock infested, lifeless East Coast armpit, er. city, known as Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; a town full of death traps eager to swallow you whole as you cruise down the hollowed out roads in any part of the city; a town with a public square that has an exhibition of hypodermic syringes and heroin packets as true-to-grit urban art displays; a town with homeless "people" that blend in with their surroundings like The Predator, just waiting to find their next Schwarzenegger to prey on; a town with prostitutes that would make Paris Hilton's vagina appear to be a model of good hygiene and safe sex. Most (un)importantly though, is that in the realm of Hip-Hop; Wilkes-Barre is a town littered, infected and bloated with some of the weakest, wackest and wiggerest MCs and Beatfakers in the world.

Rising from the ashes of this steaming pile of shit is yours truly, MATASIETE (remember the name).

MATASIETE has teamed up with record label ESCHATON PRODUCTIONS to release his long-awaited and highly anticipated debut album, Grandiloquence. The album will be Executive Produced by (Ex-Wilkes-Barre) Hollywood producer RE:EVOLUTION, and will be released in the fourth quarter of 2007 on both CD and iTunes along with two separate limited edition 12" records for the singles from the album (which will also include the instrumental and acapella versions, for your remixing pleasure).

Stay tuned in right here on the MySpace page for more news on the album, new tracks, shows, merch and more!
