Mary Miss Fairy has been causing quite a stir of late. This consummate spinner has been busying ripping up dance floors across the UK with an eclectic blend of groovy, bass- laden electro, driving, minimal techno, and dirty, progressive house, combined with a full on stage presence, technical prowess and a relentless passion for bass and beats.
Her unique style and infectious energy behind the decks have seen her warm up for Miles Dyson, Far Too Loud and Hedflux, and play alongside the likes of LTJ Bukem, Hallucinogen, Tim Healey, Gaudi, George Barker,General Midi, Mood deluxe, Atomic drop, Tom Real and Neurodriver to name but a few. She has become a regular on the UK festival scene, playing at Glade, Secret Garden,Sunrise, Boom Town Fair,Waveform and Echo festivals and graced the stages of some of the biggest venues in London and Brighton, such as Matter, SE1,The Scala, The Coronet, The Colloseum, Hidden, and Concorde 2.She also recently blew away her audiences warming up for Far too Loud in Italy and France.
Mary has recently begun music production , and is currently collaborating with Datomas, and Mr Mirra (aka Electric Mirror), with a tune due for release on Brokenrecords 14th february 2011, 'evil femobt'.
She is also a versatile vocalist/lyricist, having worked with Delta 9, Dirty B and Nagul Sound Experiment, and is featured on NSE's album, 'Invisible movements' out on Liquid Records (track 15 'Hexorsism'), available on Beatport now. Her vocal talents have been snapped up by Atomic drop, and 'Inside my head' - Atomic drop featuring Mary Miss Fairy is due for release shortly on Bazooka records.
Now officially a label dj for both Broken andWonk#ay records, with an Electro/Techno compilation due for release, and more international bookings in the pipeline, 2011 is sure to hold big things for this elfin-featured mixtress.
