Artist / Band / Musician

Soundpark Records(GER)/ Garimpeiro Records(JP)
The band Mary Jane was
founded in 1997 by 4 friends who had met in school. After playing a few
local gigs the band made a name for itself and developed a fan-base. The
orginal line up was: Thomson (voc-git), Bartl(voc-git), Moritz(bass) and
Daniel(drums). After a couple of years of songwriting and playing concerts
Mary Jane switched their bass-player. Moritz left the band and Basti
joined Mary Jane in 2001. He found his standing in the band pretty
quickly and also became the 2nd lead vocalist and main backround vocalist.
Ever since, Mary Jane has been known for their two part harmonic singing. In
2002 Mary Jane recorded their first full-length album called "The Art of
Fart" at Easy Chicken Studio in Munich. They played numerous shows all over
Germany and sold about 1500 copies of their album "The Art of Fart". In 2006
they signed a production contract with Alex-Mario Preu from Soundpark
Studios and recorded their 2nd full-length album "Road Signs & Rock Shows"
which received applauding reviews in the German music press and some of it's
songs were presented on various samplers. "Road Signs & Rock Shows" has sold
more than 2000 copies and counting. In Fall 2006 Bartl had to quit Mary
Jane due to health concerns and "Hot" took over. Even though Hot is only
17 years old he is an amazingly talented guitar player and a true asset to
the band. A Japanese Version of "Road Signs & Rock Shows" was released in
May 2008 on Garimpeiro Records. Since 2009 Patrick plays the four strings.
MARY JANE are THOMSON (guitar, vocals), DANIEL (drums), HOT
(guitar, vocals) & PATRICK (bass guitar, vocals)
