Marvin Priest

Marvin Priest, the son of reggae superstar Maxi Priest, has a gift for music in his blood. Born and raised in London's south-eastern borough of Lewisham, Marvin was brought up in a musical family, and before long was touring with his father as part of his entourage as a backup singer.
Marvin's own music career has only just begun. Recently he hit the road touring with UB40 as a backup singer. Then throughout Australia and New Zealand on the Ragamuffin Tour, alongside The Wailers, Arrested Development and The Black Seeds, to name a few.
Marvin demonstrates a natural flair for the craft of songwriting, having penned a hit song 'Full Hundred' for Maxi Priest in the UK, as well as 'Childhood' which features on Maxi's latest album 'Refused'.
Marvin is a true journeyman and regularly travels between London, USA, Jamaica and Australia while he writes his first album. This flat earth mentality promises to bring an international feel to his first release.
Marvin recently signed a recording contract with legendary music company Island Records, and is now set to take on the world. Make way for Marvin Priest….
