DESCRIPTION:
The typically traditionally-minded Marshall Amplification has offered a few radical amp designs of late, including the UK-built Class5, the Vietnam-built MA100, and the hater-baiting Haze 40. Perhaps most unorthodox of all (least orthodox?) is the Marshall JMD:1 -- or in this case, a Marshall JMD:102 -- a modeling amp from Marshall.
Whaaaaat? Modeling, you say? Yes, I do. But worry not. When designing the modeling preamp front-end topology on the JMD:1 Marshall decided to stick with what they know: Marshall amps. The JMD:1 is like a playable museum of vintage and modern Marshall amplifiers. Owen give us a tour of a few of those classic tones, and shows us how easy it is to setup up presets for use during performance.
