I am now promoting nights and events in Newcastle while the Dialect lads are dealing with their second album, DDay.



The next night I have lined up is a celebration of the novel Naked Lunch written by William Burroughs and first published fifty years ago in 1959. If you have never read Naked Lunch go out and get a copy NOW! For me it is the source of all the counter culture that came along in the second half of the 20th century.



Naked Lunch at Fifty takes place at The Star and Shadow in Newcastle on Saturday November 28th. There will be all sorts of shamanic shit going down. Only come along if you really are prepared to dig deep and tackle the darker side of your pitiful soul.

An old friend, Franny Armstrong has made a new film, THE AGE OF STUPID. You can show it in your front room at at your local through an indie license. Go to the age of stupid website for details. Seems to me like either some of us start to change things for the better or the whole game is coming to a sticky end. You could also approach your local school and suggest they buy the Not Stupid school action pack and help them use it with the kids, they are the ones who will be the first to have been left a ruined planet so maybe it's time to be revolting, Chop.
