Versatile musician, guitarist, composer, producer and arranger Marco Iacobini was born in Rome on May 17 in 1975. His musical background includes the study of classical music and jazz. Marco begins to work like arranger about music score for film and television business area.
In these years Marco writes and makes musical arrangements with Stuart Hamm, Cristiano Micalizzi, Stefano Sastro, Marco Siniscalco, Roberto Gallinelli.
Marco has played with such stars as: Giorgia, Virgil Donati, Tony Levin, Stuart Hamm, Mike Terrana, Carl Verheyen, Joel Taylor, Billy Sheehan, Bill Bergman, Phil Maturano and many more. Marco's playing has been described as "a cross between Steve Lukather and Steve Vai" but with his own unmistakable style. In 2004 Marco makes the project Spaces for the new frontiers of instrumental rock fusion. This project has been described as "a genuinely fantastic mix of rock, popular music and contemporary jazz". In 2006 Marco opens the european tour of Tony Levin Band with Jessie Gress, Jerry Marotta and others. In the same year Marco is endorser for T-Rex Engineering. In 2008 Marco releases his new instrumental guitar oriented album: " In my world ". Top seller album on web. In the same year Marco is endorser for Carvin and Pigtronix. In 2009 Marco is very proud to collaborate with great italian female voice: " Giorgia " on the album: " Spirito Libero " with Herbie Hancock, Ronan Keating, Michael Baker and many more. Now Marco works on his new album.
