Le MOOD formed in 2006 when Marco Argiro, Corinne Callen and Kenton Langstroth, three Florida natives, moved to New York City with dreams of rock n’ roll, bright lights, and big city success. Upon his arrival in NYC in 2005, lead singer Marco Argiro, began playing solo acoustic shows at iconic NYC music venues including CBGB, the Bitter End, the Delancey, and the Underground Lounge, and even travelled west to Los Angeles to showcase his talents. Soon after, Marco decided it was time to put together a band, and called on his cousin and multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Corinne Callen, and high school friend and guitarist, Kenton Langstroth, to form the core of Le MOOD. The band’s current line-up also includes bassist Brian Karp and drummer Robert Draghi.
This five-piece boasts infectious pop tunes infused with a sunny rock ‘n’ roll vibe that has audiences dancing far and wide. The effortless vocal harmonies of cousins Marco Argiro and Corinne Callen gracefully complement gritty guitars, grooving bass lines and pounding drums.
Over the years, Le MOOD has made a name for itself in New York’s indie rock and power pop music scene, consistently playing energy-packed shows and releasing outstanding EPs. Le MOOD has toured throughout the United States and the United Kingdom, picking up fans along the way with their catchy, upbeat, irresistible tunes and effortlessly cool image. The band has released three EPs, the first of which was recorded at iconic Electric Lady Land studios, and one 7-inch record (on green vinyl!).
“Adventures In Stereo,” Le MOOD’s debut full-length LP, is a perfectly crafted indie pop record - upbeat, insightful, infectious, retro, and even a bit psychedelic. The songs are deeply melodic, full of energy and emotion, and showcase the band’s superb songwriting skills. “Adventures In Stereo” was released on Outright Rock Records on CD and limited edition white vinyl. The first single off the album, “Winning Hand,” is a transcendent power-pop anthem about life in the band. The album also features the songs “Silent Night” and “Poor Young & Gifted.”
Le MOOD’s last studio EP, “Synaesthesia” (released on Outright Rock Records in 2008) won over the hearts of college radio stations nationwide, debuting at number 72 on the CMJ charts. Tracks from the EP were played on Jet Blue aircraft radio, MTV’s The Real World and The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, and IFC's Dinner with the Band. Television station CMT featured Le MOOD’s song “Music” as the main soundtrack to promotions for the CMT 2009 Summer of Music.

Le MOOD’s many memorable performances include a showcase at Manchester’s (UK) In The City Fest in 2008, and shows during NYC’s CMJ Festival in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Le MOOD has been honored to share the stage with many talented artists such as Fitz & The Tantrums, Stellastarr, Simian Mobile Disco, Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Locksley, Mew, Pat Fish (the Jazz Butcher), This Is Ivy League, and Tom Morello (the Nightwatchman). Marco has also performed as lead vocals for the legendary Marky Ramone during Marky Ramone's Blitzkreig tour, and has recently joined up with two London brothers and another New York musician as lead vocalist for a transatlantic rock collaboration called The Killing Floor, which already has a US and UK tour under its belt. The Killing Floor will soon enter the studio to record its first full-length LP.
Le MOOD’s loyal fan base, known as Le MOOD Army, continues to grow in numbers due to the band’s high energy live performances, critically acclaimed releases, and unrivaled passion for their music and fans.
