Also, boards, Luke Miller, very talented and Semmi playing guitar who is currently touring the world with Natalie Cole. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

Get Your Own Player!

Loverush Digital and Loverush UK! are proud to announce the release of the Loverush UK! debut album. Yes you have read it right the debut album from Kinky Roland and Mark Loverush is officially out today worldwide on ITUNES.

The album features some of the best of the best singers in the world

Boy George (Culture Club) ---- Marcella Detroit (Shakespear Sister)

Kirsty Hawkshaw (Opus III, Tiesto, Delerium) ---- Linda Duggan (Written by Dominique "Grace" Atkins)

Shelley Harland (Ferry Corsten, Delerium) ---- Marc Almond (Soft Cell)

Kate Cameron (Chakra) ---- Andrea Britton (DT8 Project, Sunfreakz, Lustral)

Louise De Fraine (Phreaq, Gene Serene) ---- Zee Asha (Culture Club)

Loverush UK! are both UK producers well both live in London, Kinky originated from Berlin, Germany and Mark Loverush all the way down from the sticks in Oxfordshire. The boys formed together after Mark made his first record with Marc Almond back in 2005, Perfect Honey (temptation) which was snapped up by legendary Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records. The single reached Number 6 in the Music Week Club Chart and was supported by Sasha and Tiesto not bad for a debut single. That same year Mark wanted to carry on the Loverush UK! name and through Marc Almond met the german maestro that is Kinky Roland. That same year the boys started to gather ideas of who to approach to make the debut album. Kinky being Boy George's producer asked him for them to do the sensational 'You're Not The One" and with further collaborations from legends such as Kirsty Hawkshaw, Marcella Detroit and singing sensations such as Shelley Harland, Andrea Britton, Zee Asha, Louise de Fraine, Kate Cameron and Linda Duggan. One of the singles on the album is actually written by Dominique "Grace" Atkins yes the girl who unleashed the Oakenfold smash hit "Not Over Yet". So with a line up like that Plethora was born and is now set to be unleashed to the world on June 16th 2008. The boys certainly have had an incredible year with 7 Music Week Club Chart Anthems under their belt 6 of which went Top 10 which is the same as having an American Billboard Dance chart anthem 6 times over.

MY WEBSITE: www.marcelladetroit.com

Marcella Detroit was born and bred in Detroit, Michigan and she started her musical career opening for David Bowie in Detroit with a local band she was in and went on to sing background vocals with greats such as Bob Seger, Aretha Franklin, and Leon Russell.

Marcella went on to join Eric Clapton’s band and stayed with him for four years. She co-wrote “Lay down Sally” with Eric, which to date has had over three million radio plays; it also ended up winning several BMI awards.

Marcella was introduced to Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and through him met Siobhan Fahey.

Siobhan was in the process of leaving her band, Banarama, at the time. She was looking to start a band which would end up being called, "Shakespear's Sister", and Marcy was asked to become a 50% member.

They ended up co-writing and recording two albums together, the first one being "Sacred Heart" and the second one, "Hormonally Yours"; the latter album won them many awards in England, and their single from that album (on which Marcy was mainly vocally featured) called "Stay", was number one for eight weeks in England and also was in the top five in the Billboard charts in America in 1992. The single “Stay” holds the record for the longest run at no. 1 for a female performer in the UK.

The band split up in 1993 due to personality differences. Marcy went on to do a solo album in 1994 on London records entitled, "Jewel" which did well in England, Europe and Australia.

After that, she released an album in 1996 on "Feeler" which was very successful in Japan and Australia with success in Europe. In 2001, she released another album on her own label called, "Dancing Madly Sideways" which is still available on itunes. This record was quite adventurous and received some very positive recognition from US Billboard magazine.

Marcy signed to a British publishing company called A7 in 2003. A7 sent her travelling all over the globe, writing pop hits for various major artists worldwide. Marcy has recently been enjoying the success of her co-writing with a platinum selling song in Brazil, and is also the sole writer of "I Believe", [also on her solo 'Marcella Detroit' , "Jewel" CD] , which was recorded by an artist in Germany named Joanna Zimmer. The song reached number 2 in the German National Charts in May of 2005, garnering a gold record for the artist and Marcy.

Marcella found herself headlining at ‘Walk the Walk’, breast cancer concert at Hyde Park, in May of 2007, to an audience of 17,000 people.

Where is she now?? Marcy is in the middle of recording a new cd and looking for new publishing opportunities. She's had the good fortune to have worked with some of the world's greatest producers:

Arif Mardin, Tom Dowd, Jerry Wexler, Glyn Johns, Russ Titleman, David Foster, Chris Thomas, Phil Collins, George Duke, Lieber and Stoller, and Burt Bacharach to name a few.
