- MAPS was an instrumental rock band that incorporated mixed meters and non-traditional songwriting in their music - MAPS formed during February 2005 in Nashville, TN where instrumental music is almost non-existent - We released our 1st demo "The Occidental EP" in January 2006 and our 1st full length "Oh, That Our Heads Were Waters" in November 2006 - Throughout 2007, MAPS embarked on several tours around the South, Midwest and East Coast - MAPS officially released our 2nd full length record "The Wick and The Fire" on June 10, 2008 through Crossroads of America Records - MAPS played over 100 shows to date - We've played along with Caspian, Foxhole, Unwed Sailor, Gifts from Enola, Cinemechanica, The Ascent of Everest and other post-rock favorites - Questions about our music or anything else can be sent here or to mapsband@hotmail.com - We existed because of your support, so thanks for listening!
