DESCRIPTION:
A dedication, composed and played by Manuel Garde for the maker of my favorite Bassguitar, Pete "the fish" Stevens. The title is a compound of his name and a painting I made (Fischflug), which starts the slideshow.
"Pete the fish" from High Wycombe himself, made me my lefthanded Wal Bass in Summer 1982.
Lately I heard; the fabulous Mick Karn passed away in 2011: He once inspired me a lot. Now I wanted to feature my special kind of playing this bass one more time.
What you hear, is the bass without the certain electronics Wal uses. Just the Pickups, which are pretty rich over all frequencies. Just with them, you've got a much wider range, unlimited by the electronics.
All Guitars, keyboards and "Addictive drums", are performed by me too.
