Måns Zelmerlöw

Måns Petter Albert Zelmerlöw (born June 13, 1986) is a Swedish singer.



Måns appeared as a contestant in the Swedish Idol 2005 television series and advanced to the live round after becoming judge Kishti Tomita's favourite early on. He didn't make the top three. The same year, Zelmerlöw appeared on Let's Dance, and beat Anna Book in the final of the hit show's first season.



On February 17, 2007, Zelmerlöw performed the song Cara Mia in one of the Melodifestivalen 2007 semi-finals. He was the second artist to be announced as a finalist, beating favourite Magnus Carlsson for the last place in the finals.



The song "Cara Mia" placed third in the Melodifestivalen 2007 final where it received second most votes from the viewers. It did hit the charts, too, peaking at number one.



In 2007 the Swedish gay magazine "QX" named him the sexiest man in Sweden.



Måns-Petter Albert Salhén Zelmerlöw, född 13 juni 1986, är en svensk sångare, dansare och skådespelare uppväxt i Lund. Han tävlade i TV4:s Idol 2005 där han slutade på en 5:e plats på temat rock. Zelmerlöw har även vunnit TV4:s Let's Dance tillsammans med Maria Karlsson. 2005 sommarjobbade Zelmerlöw på G. Swensons Krog i Torekov. På senare tid har han turnérat i södra Sverige som sångare. Under andra halvan av 2006 spelade han huvudrollen, Danny Zuko, i musikalen Grease som har satts upp i Malmö. Han gick till final i den svenska Melodifestivalen 2007 med låten Cara Mia, som slutade på tredje plats. Hans flickvän heter Helena Thiman och är från Kristianstad. Hon gick i Måns parallellklass på Lars Erik Larssongymnasiet i Lund.
