Drawing on the knowledge and contacts built up over ten years in the music industry, Manilla PR can offer you the professionalism, work rate and results to meet the demands of all musical styles. In the past few years we have handled all manner of campaigns and events from acoustic to punk, regional radio tours and TV appearances to National award ceremonies.
Results are too many to mention, but TV we have worked with in the past include Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Soccer AM, Channel 5, Something for the Weekend, Sky News, MTV, Flaunt, Channel M, Magic TV, Simply TV, Kerrang TV, BBC 3. Our radio success is even better with artists securing coverage at BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC 6, BBC London, XFM, Century FM, Galaxy, Talksport and many, many more national, regional and specialist shows.
Magazines and Newspaper coverage includes, amongst many others, NME, Kerrang, Rocksound, The Wire, Uncut, Metal Hammer, fRoots, Jazzwise, The Fly, Independent, The Sun, Daily Mirror, Guardian, Hip Hop, Metro, Base.ad, Sunday Mirror, Sunday People and hundreds more national and regional publications we can name.
Other area's of media our track record extends to, includes digital and online media, student media and fanzines. Our initial background in the 1990's was with grassroots media and included us publishing our own monthly magazine and radio show. We have kept those contacts to this day and our database of regional student and fanzine contacts covers the whole of the UK.
Manilla PR also handles the Beverley Folk Festival as part of our events portfolio, handling media for Beverley Folk Festival has introduced us to some key media people in the UK who we remain in touch with via our artists throughout each year. 2007 also saw us handle the Glasswerk New Music Awards at AKA, Covent Garden, London and saw another sold out event being covered by various media. 2008 we stage our own showcase event at In The City and produced a compilation CD which was handed around the Midland Hotel and this years see us set up and promote the Lipstick & Guitar tour.

Video production
Manilla PR can produce a full video filming and editing service from £400. This includes location filming, editing and DVD copies. Your video will be of broadcast quality and eligible for video channel and mainstream TV consideration.

Indie/Rock
Our indie line up is bursting again with quality. Single releases for early 2010 are in the pipeline for RedTrack, Lucius, Broken Links, Glenn Meling, Projekt, Sharp Practise, Laura Catlow, The Lights, Volcanoes and Kakuzi. Album releases are also planned for Shabby Rogue, Limozine and Isa & The Filthy Tongues.
Alternative
Admiral Fallow release their Paul Savage produced debut album and expect further musical genius from Aaron Carey, Marvin Naylor, Jack Rabbit Slim, Ben Dalby, Rodina and Jarmean.
Dance /DJ
2009 was a breakthrough year for Diarmaid O’Meara. Expect early 2010 success for Pop princes Senadee and Alexander Price.
Folk
The folk artist on our roster continue to raise the bar. 2010 is no exception with the roster including Battlefield Band, Karl Culley, Colin Pollock, RM Hubbert, Jo Hamilton and Kah.
Urban/Hip Hop
Stanley Odd release their stunning new album in 2010 and R.I.O releases his debut single in early 2010 and expect to see Speakerpeople forge a name in 2010, plus releases from Untitled and Angel.
Mainstream
The Christians return to the fore in 2010 with a new single. Wishbone Ash release their first official single for 20 years this year and Matthew Glenn Thompson debuts in the UK. Look out for GMTV stars too The Lancashire Hotpots. Ian McNabb also releases his stunning new Light album.
Events
We are proud to be the official PR company for the Burton Festival and also Beverley Festival and Save 6 Music gig in London feat Goldheart Assembly.
