Where do I start? I guess the beginning would be a good place. I've been singing pretty much since i was able to speak and it has always been something i wantd to persue. U know when your 5 years old and dream of being a popstar? that was me!!!

I started progressing with my singing at the age of 12 when i joined a local gospel choir that was specially set up for young people. I guess that got me comfortable with performing and singing in public.

Through people I know and people i've met I somehow ended up writing and recording at a local studio by the time I was 16. Through this studio I met even more people and artists on the Nottingham Music tree and I became involved with a local Hip-hop, RnB, garage collective called Raw Talent

It was with Raw Talent that I gained a lot of experience with performing as I was lucky enough to be involved in a tour back in 2003 with artists such as Ms. Dynamite, Lisa Maffia, Shola Ama, Big Brovaz, Asher D, Romeo, Keisha White, The Endz and so many more! That was an awesome experience. Plus I was always writing and recording and u know what they say " Practice makes perfect!"

Since then i have also teamed up with I-beatz, we've been working together for the past 2 years or so now. Here i have found my musical soul mates. I feel more confident and proud of the songs i've made with these guys than i evr have. I feel that now im writing songs that truly represent me and my style (incredibly varied!)

I'm currently working on my first album with I-Beatz and it should be finished within the next month or two. U can check out a couple of the tracks on my profile - i would love to hear what u think. advice and constructive criticism is always appreciated!!!!

I'm also a painter/illustrator and i have uploaded a couple of examples in my photos but i have an art website here: mamacitared.deviantart.com.
