1999: A quite unstable line-up gives birth to a Thrash metal band with the accordion, called Kolon.

2000: Its name turns into Asgard, to pay homage to the epic themes that characterize the first lyrics. A deep interest in Black Metal starts growing.

2001: After releasing Tetralogia Vichinga, the band leaves the epic and mythological themes and becomes more and more interested into popular music and folks. As a matter of fact, the name itself changes into Malnàtt, a word taken from the Bolognese dialect.

2002: The band is aware that it lives to support the Swine Supremacy and all the things that deal with it, socially, ideologically and culinary speaking. The band proposes a new original stuff which could be called "Folk Black Metal", completely sung in a dialect from Bologna. Its first manifestation is given by the self-produced full-length Perle per Porci.

2003: The independent label Il Male Production has been founded in order to support the band which is now waiting for a real agreement to be signed. The full-length Perle per Porci is now being published for the second time.

2004: The band decides to get rid of the accordion, aware that it is also possible to go on without that hystorical instrument. Malnàtt produces a split cd called Necro Swine Black Metal, together with Thodde, a band from Perugia.

2005: In April, the band signs an agreement with the austrian CCP Records. In July, the full-length Carmina Pagana is out.

2006: Malnàtt music has been dried up and it's now at its utmost. The lyrics become real invectives and the members are now 5.

2007: February the 26th, the second album under CCP Records is out. Its title is a homage to the homonymous Beckett's drama. After recording, the band is no longer made up of 5 members, but only 4. After one only month, the members are 6.

2008: May, the 30th 2008: the third album "La Voce dei Morti" is out. 9 songs of existential uneasiness voiced out by the words of the greatest international poets.



2009: It's time for a brand new line-up: new drummer, new guitarist, new bass player! Young and brave soldiers have joined the Malnatt Army!

2010: The year starts with two prestigious events: the participation at Italian Gods of Metal and in the TV-fiction "L'ispettore Coliandro"

1999: nasce "Kolon", band thrash metal con la fisarmonica come strumento sia ritmico che solista.

2000: la band cambia nome in "Asgard" per omaggiare i temi epici che caratterizzano i primi testi, e inizia l'interesse verso il black metal.

2001: dopo l'uscita del demo "Tetralogia Vichinga" la band si lascia alle spalle i temi epico-mitologici e inizia un serio interesse per la musica popolare e le tradizioni locali, tanto che decide di prendere un nome in dialetto bolognese (Malnàtt, appunto).

2002: il gruppo prende coscienza che il motivo per il quale vive è supportare la Supremazia del Maiale, con ciò che ne consegue a livello sociale, ideologico e culinario. L'originale genere musicale proposto è una sorta di folk black metal cantato in dialetto bolognese e la prima manifestazione è il full-length album autoprodotto "Perle Per Porci".

2003: viene fondata l'etichetta discografica indipendente "Il Male Production" per sostenere la band in attesa di un vero contratto discografico la quale ristampa il full-lenght "Perle Per Porci".

2004: Dopo l'ennesimo cambio di line-up che porterà l'allontanamento della fisarmonica, la band dimostra che può andare avanti anche senza il suo storico strumento e pubblica assieme ai perugini Thodde lo split cd "Necro Swine Black Metal".

2005: ad aprile viene firmato un contratto discografico con l'austriaca CCP Records e a luglio esce il full-length album "Carmina Pagana".

2006: la musica si asciuga e si estremizza, i testi goliardici diventano vere e proprie invettive, la line-up passa da 7 a 5 membri.

2007: Il secondo album per CCP Records vede la luce il 26 febbraio e si intitola "Happy Days" in onore all'opera teatrale di Samuel Beckett. Subito dopo l'uscita dell'album la lineup passa da 5 a 4 membri, e dopo un altro mese diventa a 6 (v.colonna a sinistra in questa pagina)

2008: E' uscito il 30 maggio 2008 in formato CD ed MP3 il terzo album per CCP Records dal titolo "La voce dei morti", un concept basato su chi ha già detto tutto prima di noi e meglio di noi. Già TOP ALBUM su RockHard!

2009: Festeggiamo i 10 anni di attività del gruppo con una formazione nuova di zecca. La suinizzazione del mondo può continuare.

2010: L'anno inizia con due prestigiose partecipazioni: all'Italian Gods of Metal e nella fiction televisiva "L'ispettore Coliandro"
