BIOGRAFÍA
MAR DE SUENIOS se presenta como la referencia más madura de su
historia, más contundente y con una producción y arreglos del más alto nivel.
Grabado por R d Rumba y Marcos "Kulebra" (Violadores del verso), en los
"Rap solo studios" de Zaragoza, estos 14 temas (incluyendo una remezcla dub a
cargo de R d Rumba) emanan ritmos jamaicanos, bailables que se complementan
con el rock americano más contundente, todo esto sin olvidar los instrumentos
propios de la tierra aragonesa, como la gaita de boto, que dota a la banda de un
cálido sonido propio, así como el acordeón.
Todo esto aderezado con una potente sección de metales, teclados,
samplers… Que hacen de su sonido una experiencia que hay que vivir, tanto en
disco como en directo.
Mezclado por Aitor Ariño en los estudios "Lorentzo records" en Bérriz,
(Bizkaia), por donde han pasado artistas del nivel de Extremoduro, Marea, Fito y
los fitipaldis, Platero y tu…
El disco ha contado como broche final con la participación de Andy
Vandette (U2, David Bowie, Deep Purple, Beastie Boys…), que ha masterizado
la referencia en los míticos estudios Masterdisk de New York. La producción
ha corrido de nuevo a cargo de Alex García y de la propia banda.
Colaboraciones de máximo nivel para este trabajo, que la banda ha preparado
como base a su nuevo y potente directo, en donde podremos observar su
contagiosa fuerza en su máximo esplendor.
Temas cantados en aragonés, con unas letras enfocadas desde una óptica
poética, que supone el colofón a un trabajo bien hecho de principio a fin.
En estos momentos la banda se encuentra inmersa en numerosos proyectos, tales
como la inclusión de varios temas en recopilatorios en Alemania, así como una
remezcla de un tema a cargo de "Rude" cantante y Dj italiano, colaborador habitual
de Manu chao, Roy Paci, La Kinky beat, y su inclusión en varios recopilatorios
que se editarán en los Estados Unidos.
Con ese disco, mallacán deja definitivamente claro que son una de las
bandas más potentes y consolidadas en cuanto a música mestiza se refiere.

Mar de Suenios presents itself as the most mature reference of Mallacáns history, more
forceful and with a production and musical arrangements of the highest level.
Recorded by R d Rumba and Marcos "Kulebra" (Violadores del Verso) in Rap
Solo Studios of Zaragoza, the 14 songs (including a dub remix by R d Rumba) exude
Jamaican rhythms, which are complemented with the most powerful American rock,
all this without forgetting the instruments of Aragon, like the bagpipe, which gives the
band a gentle own style or the accordion.
All this sounds come seasoned with a powerful brass section, keyboards,
samplers… which make Mallacán sound and experience that must be lived, both
recorded and live.
Mixed by Aitor Ariño in "Lorentzo Records" studio in Bérriz (Bizkaia ), where musicians
of the kind of Extremoduro, Marea, Fito y los Fitipaldis, Platero y Tú…have worked.
The album has had a perfect end with the participation of Andy Vandette (U2,
Deep Purple, David Bowie, Beastie Boys…), who has mastered the reference in the
mythical Masterdisk Studios in New York.
Alex Garcia and the band have been again in charge of the production of the album.
All the mentioned are collaborations of the maximum level for this work, which
the band has got ready as the grounds for its new and powerful live show, in which
we will be able to enjoy its contagious energy in its greatest splendour.
The songs are sung in Aragonese, and their lyrics, with a poetic air, are the perfect
end for a work which has been well done from the beginning to the end.
At the moment, the band is absorbed in many projects, such as the inclusion of
some songs in different compilations in Germany, a remix of a song to be made by
"Rude", Italian singer and DJ, usual collaborator of Manu Chao, Roy Paci, La Kinky
Beat… and the inclusion of some songs in different compilations to be published in USA.
With this album, Mallacán makes once and for all clear that they are one of the
most powerful and consolidated bands regarding mix-rock music.
Japan Tour 2010
スペインの自治州であるアラゴン州出身のMestizoバンド、MALLACAN (マヤカン)。アラゴンでは20世紀に行われた言語政策により、アラゴン語の話者数が激減。現在ヨーロッパで最も話者数の少ない、貴重な言語の一つと言われている。そんなアラゴン語を自由に操り、アラゴンの伝統楽器とRockをブレンドした世界でも類を見ないバンド・・・それがMALLACANである。Punk、Ska Punkの勢いを軸に、ReggaeやTraditional Roots Musicをブレンドした彼らの音楽は、ヨーロッパのみならず世界中のファンを魅了。ラジカルなメッセージの強い歌詞も多くの人々から支持され、今ではヨーロッパのMestizo (混血)Rockシーンを代表するバンドと言われている。過去には7万人の集客を誇るViña Rock Festival、Pirineos Sur、Festival Resistencia、Buena Chen Festival、Magosta Folk、Nafarroa Oinez、Musika Eguna de Urdiñarbe、May Day (Berlin)等に出演。FERMIN MUGURUZA、OBRINT PAS、BETAGARRI、BOIKOT、ESNE BELTZA、BANDA BASSOTTI等のバンドとも共演している。今回の初来日公演では、殆どの日本人が初めて見るであろうアラゴンのバグパイプGAITA DE BOTAや、伝統クラリネットDULZAINA、アコーディオン等の伝統楽器とPunkの混血音に度肝を抜かれる事間違いなし！RADIO CHANGOからの刺客が、この夏MALLACAN旋風を巻き起こす！
