I was born in 84 and basically started getting into music at an early age. You know, like way back when I played with Fisher Price key boards and what not. I grew up playing the alto/tenor sax and studied jazz. It wasn't until high school when my dad(former jazz musician & producer) got me a set of turntables that I actually started producing and writing hip-hop. I use to hang with older dudes from Numerous Katz Production and watch them cipher at parties. I would come in with my one liners here and there until I just started busting out tracks. Hipster Hop was my first E.P. that I did back in 2003. Only like 5 people ever heard it and they liked it so much that I made a full length. "Red States for Rednecks" (mix-tape) was recorded live in 2004 with two turntables, a mic, and a mixer. It's a reaction to a rigged election, being a mixed kid in L.A., world peace, mod girls, ect. In 2007 I released a much better demo entitled, "The Indie Set". Check out my blog about it to get a feel for what it's about. I am currently working on a new project that will hopefully be another step in the right direction.
