In a time where many claim that "real" Hip-Hop is close to extinction, some artists remind us that this is far from the truth. Majesty stands amoungst the next generation of prophets and messengers. A product of the Cuban Revolution; raw, witty, and tragically beautiful are just some words that have been used to describe Majestys music. Born on the gritty streets of Washington Heights he learned about hustling and an early age. Being of "100% Cuban" decent his facination with Scarface manifested it self through a love of language, writing, and acting. In 1994 his love was channeled into Hip-Hop through The Source, Rap Pages, Hot 97 and eventually every New YorkCity venue that would allow the young prodigy to shine.Majesty has spent his entire life sharpening his sword preparing himself to claim his rightful place amongst the Hip-Hop greats.

Writing poetry since the age of 5 and rocking crowds since the age of 13, Majesty has graced the stage of nearly every venue in New York City. Bringing his refreshing views on everything from the current socio-political climate to the lack of originality within Hip-Hop, no topic goes untouched. "I feel that anything that effects me personally or humanity as a whole should be dealt with in music. I might write about how garbage I feel these cats are nowadays, then start writing a joint about the corruption within organized religion, and then finish a joint in Spanish about my pops. If it's real to me and my existence I'ma talk about it."

Despite his undeniable talent Majesty's quest for the throne has not been an easy one. After graduating from New York City's prestigious Stuyvesant High School, Majesty was offered a major label development deal which he passed up on due to creative control issues. Deciding to half heartedly attend college he soon fell victim to the call of the streets. Drug dealing, drug use, and other felonious activities led to his multiple arrests, weekends in county lock-up and eventually his incarceration on Riker's Island. "By the time I got knocked I wasn't even writing anymore, I was too caught up in a negative mind state. I guess doing that skid bid is what got me started again, I didn't have anything to do but read, write, sleep and stay alive." Released in the year 2000, Majesty continued down his negative path and positioned himself to violate the conditions of his release which would have led to a long prison term.

What can only be called a miracle occurred in 2001. Majesty had an epiphany and realized that he had no choice but to change his life for the better. This divine intervention made him see that his story could benefit others and Majesty soon after rededicated his life to music. As this process began so did his current rise within the independent Hip-Hop scene. After entering and winning several small battles Majesty slowly began teaming with some of the Tri-State's finest producers with the mission of creating raw, gritty, Hip-Hop with substance and intellect.

Fast Forward to now: This End Of the Weak Emcee Challenge Champion has toured nationally on his own merits as well as with Immortal Technique. Having performed in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Philly, Detroit, Iowa, and all over California Majesty's national buzz continues to grow. Internationally Majesty was the featured act on Ice-T's Liquid Ice Tour as well as performing in several venues in Canada. Locally Majesty has been a dominant force within New York's indie circuit. With venues such as BB Kings, S.O.B.s, Joes Pub, Club Speed, Hunter College and many others under his belt, Majesty has proven time and time again that there is no crowd that he cannot rock and very few who can successfully share a stage with him. The list of acts he has opened for is just as if not more impressive for this self funded emcee. Everyone from Common to Boot Camp; Non-Phixion to the Arsonists; Dana Dane to Dead Prez; Black Rob to Erykah Badu; Jeru Da Damaja to the Beatnuts have witnessed the intensity of this young man's performances. He has also shared the stage with many of his contemporaries including, Poison Pen, C Rayz Walz, Pumpkinhead, Sean Price, Akir, Red-Clay, Hasan Salaam, DVS, Final Outlaw, GC and The Soul Mafia and coutless others. In 2005 Majesty clocked over 50 solo performances not including his numerous guest appearances.

Through the formation of his self owned OverThrow Entertainment Majesty has released his first solo effort, a mixtape entitled "Heir To The Throne: The Alpha Project" The project hosted by Poison Pen, features Sabac from Non-Phixion, Pumpkinhead, DVS, the M.onsta I.sland C.zars Hasan Salaam, Nonezeo, and B.A.R.O.N. from Red-Clay. "The Alpha Project" is our first glance into the world of Majesty and has been well received, selling thousands of copies with absolutely no marketing budget. He also has delved into Television and film starring in the independent short film "Whatever It Takes" written and directed by Julissa Carmona as well as writing and co-producing the campaign commercial for Democratic Presidential hopefully Congressman Dennis Kucinich. The commercial aired 4 times nationally on CNN as well as John Stewarts Daily Show. This landed Majesty the honor of performing in Boston during the Rock The Vote debates, where he was even able to rock all the Presidential hopefuls including Al Sharpton, John Kerry, and Howard Dean.

Not limiting himself to media Majesty has used his past experiences as a tool to be able to work within his own community, specifically targeting at risk youth. As an administrative member of the progressive organization the Grassroots Artist MovEment (G.A.ME) Majesty has taken his disillusionment with the system and turned it into fuel for his activist spirit. Community health fairs and voter registration campaigns are just two of the many ways that G.A.ME has helped to empower the community.

2009 looks to be a busy and productive year for Majesty's quest of that coveted throne. He will be featured on MF Grimm's American Hunger as well as the long anticipated M.I.C. "Return to Monsta Island" the follow-up to the cult classic "Escape from Monsta Island". Majesty's full length solo album "Heir To The Throne: The Omega Project" will be released the Jan/Feb 2009. Majestys persistence and dedication have caught the eyes of several indie powerhouse labels with which talks are currently in the process for future projects. Majesty is living testament to the quote Without struggle there is no progress If this is any indication of things to come, his quest for the throne will soon be over.
