Maja & Cojack, has plans to put to take over da rap game n a different way puttin there unfogotten state (ALABAMA) on the mainstream hip hop map! With the likes of Tennessee, Mississippi, florida, new york and of course Georgia (in which all have artist that have had an impact on the hip hop industry); Maja & Cojack are very determined to set the bar for Alabama. Maja has always had a musical back ground. From growing up playing the drums and keys in church, to learning how to play almost every instruments in the band throughout his middle and high school years. Though dealing with the temptations of the streets and all the negative energy surrounding him; Maja managed to stay focus on and on hiz grind not lettin anythang stop him "IF DEY AINT HATTIN, U AINT DOIN SHIT". In winter of 2004, childhood friends Maja and Cojack decided to come together with one common goal.(LET,S MAKE SHIT HAPPEN) Getting out and recording day to day sleepin n da studio, goin to every gas station playin music out there cars rappin n da parkin lot, waz just few of the things they did to get known. Having plans and hopes to get out of a dead end environment and showing the industry that Alabama has mainstream potential. In doing so the duo linked up with J TRX an up & coming producer and began recording singles. In the process building a name for themselves in the streets! Although the group has recieved offers, the duo yet remains to be unsigned. "We're just waiting on the right offer", says Cojack. With their grind, determination, and electrfying sound, the duo will surely be an asset to whom ever they choose to make their home.
