Maestro received great acclaim as he played the role of Randy in the HBO hit series, The Wire in 2006/2007. This season focused on life on the streets of Baltimore and the many situations that can arise in schools in impoverished areas.

Super producer Jermaine Dupree of SO SO DEF/ISLAND DEF JAM, recognized Maestro’s musical talents and signed him to his label. He is currently working on a new CD that is scheduled to be released in 2008-2009. He is also producing records for artist in the industry.

Maestro’s phenomenal talents of singing, dancing and acting, were exhibited through theater when he played young Simba in Disney’s production of the Lion King. His many years of vocal training, dance, acting and piano lessons empowered him to perform with astounding conviction, and he touched the hearts of those who attended the production, bringing tears to the eyes of many.

In the year 2005, he was delighted to be invited to perform at the grand opening ceremony for DISNEYLAND in Hong Kong. A thunderous applause arose from the audience after his unique rendition of It’s A Small World, and the United States was well represented!

Maestro made his motion picture film debut in the movie Ali, which was directed by Michael Mann. He played young Ali, and the all-star cast included Will Smith, Jamie Fox and Jon Voight. His contagious smile lit up the screen in the movie Barber Shop I which featured Cedric the Entertainer, Ice Cube and Eve. He is featured in the movie, The Promotion, which was directed by Steven Conrad and will be released in 2008.

He also appeared in Nelly’s video, Stepped On My J’s, from the album Brass Knuckles.

Maestro also has appeared in several television commercials. He is a member of SAG, AFTRA, EQUITY and BMI. In addition to his lead role in Sony Tri Stars, Guys Like Us, he also guest starred on the television series Cold Case, ER and Meego and he was featured on BET’s, The Five. He has performed several times on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the New Maury Povich-Most Talented Kids Show. Maestro starred in ABC’s production of the PGA Tour Western Open with Tiger Woods and other pro-golfers. His voice can be heard on many radio commercials, jingles and voice-overs as well as the Twilight Zone episodes CD, along with Blair Underwood. He also was the Host/M.C. for Giffoni’s Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Maestro started singing and dancing at age two. Since then, his many accomplishments include: serving as the spokesperson for Western Union’s Study Buddy Reading Program which enabled him to travel around the United States performing at schools and delivering motivational speeches to encourage students to read. He was the recipient of The Most Talented Child Under Twelve Years Old at the Chicago Music Awards in 1999, 2000, and 2001. Maestro served as a celebrity presenter at the NAACP’s 25th ACT-SO Awards Ceremony in Houston, Texas, and he received standing ovations as he performed for NABSE (National Alliance of Black School Educators) in Atlanta, Georgia.

Do you remember the little boy in the Gatorade, “Be Like Mike” commercial with Michael Jordan and Larry Bird? That was Maestro!! When not in front of the camera, he enjoys playing the piano, and producing records.
