Mae's Lost Empire

On first impressions, Mae's Lost Empire come across as a band trying to do too many things at once. However, listen a bit closer, and it turns out that this Sheffield mob are actually getting it spot on. There are more solos, tapping and unorthodox structures than most prog / punk / hardcore crossovers, but the band manage to keep it catchy and squeeze a big chorus or two in along the way. - ROCKSOUND
