Model, Actress and Singer, Madison Buchanan participated in various national and local talent competitions and began to come into her own as an entertainer. She is a 2003 American Idol Alumni finishing among the top 80 out of 100,000 contestants. At that point, the city of Chicago began to embrace her. In February of 2003, she was showcased on Fox News in the Morning where she was spotlighted for 2 days. The spotlight included an extensive interview and performance.
In 2004, she was selected as one of the best new talents in Chicago by WGCI Radio and starred as a finalist in the Chicago Idol Competition.
