Mack started his career in 1996, in Japan, where he lived for six years. Since then, he started to play at various countries such as India, Thailand, Romania, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Portugal and Greece. IN 1999, he decided to come back to Brazil, where he was signed with Nasa Records, where he stayed for two years. Since 2000, his presence is mandatory in the main events of trance in Brazil, like Trancedence, Celebra Brasil 1 and 2, Ypy Poty Gathering, XXXPerience, MegAvonts, Psycircus Gathering, Orion Dance, Skol Rio, Solaris and Tribe. In 2001 he was invited to play at the Solipse Festival in Zambia, a festival that lasted ten days and had the main djs in the international trance movement. In the same year, the went back to Japan to perform at the Earthdance festival, an event that happened simultaneously in many countries, an aid for Tibet. Mack is also one of the co-founders of Wajanga Records. In 2002, he was invited to play at the VooV Experience, in Germany, the most traditional festival with more than 12 thousand people attending. He also played at FullMoon Festival, in Germany, Samothraki Dance Festival, in Greece. For one year, he played for Neurobiotic Records, Italy. Mack has played with the most important names in the trance world, such as : Hallucinogen, Total Eclipse, Infected Mushroom, Etnica, Kox Box, Dino Psaras, Space Tribe, Bamboo Forest, GMS, Zorba, Deedrah, Absolum, Shakta, Earthling, Vatos Locos, Tristan, Antidote, Logic Bomb, Raja Ram, Skazi, Astrix, Atomic Pulse, S.U.N. Project and many more. In 2003, with DJ Gabe, he opened Zig Zag Records, which has all the released from Wrecked Machines, Brain XL (last project with DJ Mack and DJ Gabe). In the same year he was nominated for "Best Trance DJ" by the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, and was elected "Best Trance DJ" by the website Balada Planet. In 2004, Mack was being invited to play at the Fusion Festival, FullMoon Festival and many parties throughout Europe. In September of 2004, he played at Vision Quest Gathering, one of the most important trance festivals in Japan. In the same year, he played at the BMF festival in Brasília, with approximately 50 thousand people attending. 2005 started very well for DJ Mack, he played at the Universo Paralelo Festival, Solaris and Trancendence. Right after the Trancendence festival, he started his European Tour, for the fourth consecutive year.
