Founded in 1995 by the drummer Fabrizio Cislaghi, MACBETH debuts with "Romantic Tragedy's Crescendo" in 1998 after releasing a very successful demo tape called "Nocturnal Embrace". The feedback on their first album, was extremely positive and they got some very good feedbacks with great reviews everywhere. After important live dates the band went through some line-up changes. With a new line-up, in 2001, MACBETH entered the studio to work on their second album "Vanitas": a masterpiece of gothic symphonic metal plunged in melancholy with the perfect fusion of power and atmosphere. The album shows a more aggressive approach, without losing the romantic side of the band's style. MACBETH becomes one of the leading bands of the european gothic metal scene. In 2005 the band released "Malae Artes". The band has developed its style, putting more and more emphasis on the theatrical atmosphere of the whole album but keeping the songs powerful.
Consolidated by many gigs: Malae Artes Italian tour, Malae Artes south America tour, Metal Female Voices Fest (Belgium), Rock Nation Open Air Beirut (Lebanon), Evolution Fest (Italy) and many more… The female vocalist Morena began collaborating with Rock TV (Sky channel 718) and some Italian radios. MACBETH entered the studio to record the fourth chapter…With Superangelic Hate Bringers, MACBETH present to the world their best album ever.
The gothic metal band from Milan, Italy, recorded 10 fantastic tracks with catchy melodies and diabolic charm. MACBETH developed their unique style. After releasing the fourth album the band toured United Kingdom for the first time and come back to Belgium for the Metal Female Voices Fest 6. During the promotional tour Morena also performed as guest on the stage of the Metal March day festival in Athens (Greece).
