BIOGRAPHY

Combining a musical mixture of roots, folk, and soul, Lyndsay Wojcik brings a refreshing twist to the often mundane and repetitive styles of the present music industry. Using her savvy lyrical sense, she paints her interpretation of life onto her audience as if they were the wet canvas on which she worked. She has won several competitions such as the Gibson Songwriters contest in Nashville, placed second in the NSAI songwriter competition in Charlotte, placed second in a competition in Knoxville, and has appeared on the CMT television show "The Big Break" with Sara Evans.



She has participated in numerous radio apperances including "The Blue Plate Special", Writers Block, WSQL Radio Show, Local Color on WNCW 88.7, Bob FM, and Charleston's ABC program Low Country Live. She has played at such festivals as Bele Chere in Asheville North Carolina, the White Squirell Festival, LAAF, The Flat Rock Music Festival, the 1st ever Rastafarian Cultural Fest, Mill around the village, Myrtle Beach's Earth Day Festival, and Gorges Music Festival where she opened for Edwin McCain.

She has also opened for the Reggae band Dub Conscious, Darrell Scott, Richard Buckner, Steep Canyon Rangers, Sun Domingo, Moonshine Still, Sol Driven Train, and Jerry Joseph, and headlined many more. She is a naturally prolific songwriter having written countless original songs. She has been touring the East Coast for the last 6 years and hopes to make her way West soon!
