L.V. McCree

It has been nearly a decade since California was a major focal point for the national hip-hop audience. Now in the current era of music, L.V. McCree, has the musical power to cause a 21st century resurgence of attention to the state! L.V. McCree is 26 year old and was born in San Diego California on July 22nd of 1984. His feel good party hip-hop style and unique voice is a formula that is quickly gaining national exposure. With his mixtapes with his old group titled "Daygo Boyz'' with local and known features "S.D. Special Delivery" hosted by the infamous DJ Kay Slay, and ''S.D. Certified'' hosted by D.J. Green Lantern, he has proved that Hip Hop on the westcoast is NOT dead. L.V. deeply entrenched in the local culture of skate boarding for 11 years before he transitioned his love for music into a musical obsession. Call it fate or maybe just good timing but an impromptu recording session for fun caused L.V. to stumble upon his love and gift of rhyme. He realized he loved what would soon be his craft and acknowledged that he had a genuine knack for it. As a result L.V. continued to record more and more until he was doing what he loved on a daily basis and dispersing free mixtapes to whomever would listen. From D.J.'s who wanted to rock the crowd to local teenagers looking for the next big thing, L.V. tried to touch them all. Music soon became L.V.'s escape, his means of income, his best friend and his priority in life. His talents were eventually recognized and allowed him to rock the same stage as major artists including Fat Joe, Bow Wow, B Real, Bizzy Bone, E40, Raekwon and Lil' Rob. His goal is to expand beyond his borders allowing his music to reach its full potential and touch global audiences. L.V. McCree has traveled through states and performed before audiences of all sizes and always receiving an overwhelming receptive response. Steadily propelling forward in his career at a fast pace, L.V. McCree, has already worked his way to collaborating with the likes of Method Man, Big Left, Grafh, and Kokane. This is just the beginning for this talented individual. He is now working in a four artist team called, ''We Da West(W.D.W.)'', with female emcee Plain Jane, Big Kev, and Delano Sounds.
