"Luzern - Rock City"!



Luzern's a quite small town right in the centre of Switzerland. It has only about 60'000 inhabitants and its major features are a picturesque Old Town and a scenic lake that stretches out into the nearby Alps. Although it attracts hundreds thousands of tourists a year (especially the East Asian ones), this tiny town seems to be as boring as hell. especially from the rock'n'roll perspective.



But, believe it or not, ALL WRONG! Luzern's music scene is hotter and more vibrant than many other independent music scenes. Despite the small population of only 60k, there are more than hundred Luzern-based bands playing gigs all around Switzerland/Europe. There are also quite a lot of live venues for excellent nights out and an independent radio station that really kicks ass!
