Hip-hop has gone from creative sampling to lifting entire samples with so called producers putting the rong drums, and or creating rong drum patterns like they have no sence of original rhythm! Like a moth to a flame, Luminary was drawn to hardcore / non commercial sound introduced to him in the streets of Brooklyn. Intrigued by hip-hop, he used his turntables and house parties as an outlet to learn how to sample and create music. At 14 years-old he began to develop a talent for morphing unique sounds and samples to create beats. chopping up an assortment of hard-core unique sounds, Luminary always leaves you wanting more. In addition to perfecting his creativity, Luminary also records, mixes and edits his own music. For Luminary it's not about fame, or money but about respect and credibility. His goals are simple: to at least live comfortably, hone his skills and be innovative, " I want my beats heard. More than anything I want recognition, for people to say,'Luminary is ill."
