LUCKY is a music producer born & raised in Opa-Locka,Fl which is a city in Miami-Dade County! He has been involved with music production for over 15 years. Working over time to perfect his sound, fine tune his beats, and dedicating countless hours in recording studios through out South Florida paying his dues!
The future super producer was always drawn to music. Starting out as a D.J. the transition from D.J. to PRODUCER came early in his career when he met a producer by the name of DEVASTATOR who has produced records for Uncle Luke, 2 Live Crew, J.T. Money, Poison Clan, Trick Daddy, Bone Thugs -n- Harmony, and many more to mention. DEVASTATOR & LUCKY became close friends & he helped transform LUCKY from a young D.J. to a promising up & coming producer by getting him familiar with the Emu SP-1200 drum machine and teaching him how to run a recording session in the studio. The experience in the recording studio made him hungry for more. Thats when LUCKY and childhood friend CI$CO teamed up to form the production duo known as BEATSTORM PRODUCTIONS. At this time LUCKY & CI$CO began production of there own group GROUNDHOGGZ. GROUNDHOGGZ consists of FLO-RIDA, BRED, F.I.S.T, & KEY LIME. Their material is unique, contagious, and powerful! No matter what the concepts are they always remain loyal to their street roots in their music! LUCKY & CI$CO has been responsible for launching "GROUNDHOGGZ" as one of the most successful collectives in Miami Hip-Hop history! To this day, the group has performed countless shows promoting their brand of music and continuing to push forward with their own independent movement "HIGH GRADE ENTERTAINMENT".
In 2005, LUCKY & CI$CO made their partnership official by incorparting themselves as BEATSTORM PRODUCTIONS INC. Since then they have produced many records for & with many of Miami's better known artists such as:RICK ROSS, KANE & RAY J, Lil' Dugg, Boy Rook, CHIEF ELICEDES, THC Crew, T.O.R.O [R.I.P] and of course FLO-RIDA and GROUNDHOGGZ. Their material has been featured on various mix tapes including HIGH GRADE ENTERTAINMENT'S "HOGG FEED", FLO-RIDA'S "IT'S A DONE DEAL" which they produced the title track, KANE'S 24/7 HUSTLE Volume 1 & Volume 2, www.305hiphop.com's "MADE IN DADE Volume 9", CHEIF ELI'S "CHEIF PRIDE Volume 1", and many more to come.
The most important moment & major turning point in LUCKY's & BEATSTORM career came recently when one of the founding members of GROUNDHOGGZ "FLO-RIDA" was signed to a distribution deal with Atlantic Records, through Miami's superior POE BOY ENT. imprint! This proved to be a signal that LUCKY is on the right track & the industry is beginning to acknowledge his work & efforts, making it is obvious that hard work pays off. LUCKY & BEATSTORM is a living testament of this fact! BEATSTORM wants to draw the attention of aspiring producers & artist to realize the importance of focus & persistence in the music business!
