'My pain is deep.' Lucho grew up in the Esplanade running around as a little, wild youngun, trying to earn his keep by any means necessary. He started listening to hip hop in the late 80s but it wasnt until the early 90s that hip hop started to make an impact on his life. Artists such as Tupac, Biggie, Method Man, Redman, Ice Cube, Big L, Nas,

Fat Joe, Snoop Dogg, and groups such as M.O.P, Mobb Deep, WuTang, and Do or Die were the most influential; however Black Moon and Smif n Wessun were the most inspiring. With the knapsack rap being the in thing, freestyling sessions became routine in and after school. 'I never went to high school, but I always went to school high.'

Deuce and Black Jack of Concrete Mob grew up with Lucho in the Esplanade. Black Jack lived in the same building 176, and Deuce was just down the street at 25 Henry Lane. In 1996 Concrete Mob released their first single, Boiling Point, which was a hit in the Canadian hip hop industry. They became the most anticipated rap group from Toronto. Seeing Concrete Mobs success motivated Lucho further pursue his music career. Being affiliated with Concrete, Lucho was able to tour with them in 96 97; this gave him a taste of what being a music artist was like.

Fast-forward to 2006, Lucho is now making a name for himself, still collaborating with Concrete. Their new hot single Game Is is on heavy rotation on Flow 93.5, Torontos hottest urban radio station.

Lucho continues to focus on making music and is currently working on his first album. Scam from Time Bandits Music is the main producer on his project. As an independent artist he is constantly on the grind to make his dream a reality.

'Started off on the bottom with dreams of reaching the top.'
