Growing up in an environment where
tomorrow’s not guaranteed. Luch Da Don’s music paints a vivid picture of his
struggles in the hood. Given up at birth by his teenage mother, he was raised by
his grandmother.
Living with his grandmother he felt like an outcast, since most kids lived with
their mother or father. Fitting in also was also difficult due to the fact that
his grandmother constantly moved. So he never lived somewhere long enough to
make friends.
Finally at the rebellious age of 12 his grandmother sent him to live with his
mother. Living with his mother was nothing like he dreamt it would be. Living in
lower income housing projects he was introduced to a life that his grandmother
tried so hard to shelter him from. By time he was 13 Luch had already been in
juvenile detention centers for larceny, robbery, burglary, drugs as well as
weapon charges. Heading down the road of self-destruction, the only thing that
kept Luch alive, besides the grace of God, was music.
“I never had anyone to talk to about what I was going through. All I had was
music. When I was going through shit, I would through on Pac or Big and listen
to their pain. Seeing that they made it through their struggles, gave me
strength to make it through mines. That’s when I decided to do music. I figured
if I gave y'all my pain, I could help somebody get through their struggles”—Luch
Da Don.
Writing rhymes was Luch’s way of expressing the obstacles that were placed in
his life. He writes from a perspective that not many can imitate and yet so many
of us can appreciate. Luch has a fuel that burns full force, ignited by the
depth of his lyrics and the passion expressed in the intensity of his music.



Luch pain, struggles and glory created a soul touching artist with an
unmatchable swag. He speaks the lingo that grittiest individual in the streets
