Hello there.



I am Lucas Renney, singer, songwriter, drunkard, raconteur and critically-acclaimed alt-folk sensation. I used to be a Golden Virgin but I'm alright now. My debut solo album 'Strange Glory' is out now on Brille Records (home of Good Shoes, The Knife, Envelopes and Operator Please!) - I hereby present a few tracks for your listening pleasure



Produced by Bella Union boss and former Cocteau Twin Simon Raymonde, the album also features Midlake's rhythm section Paul Alexander and McKenzie Smith on bass and drums respectively, fellow Bella Union artist Stephanie Dosen on backing vocals, plus string and horn arrangements, violin and piano by Fiona Brice.
