Previously known on the underground circuit as L.S.G (Little Shady Gigglez) Lil’ London has been performing and releasing tracks since the age of 14.
This eccentric performer has participated in most genres within the UK music scene: from supporting Glamour Kid in Lewisham theatre, being booked to MC at Drum & Bass events such as MC-Convention (Highly blessed), performing a Hiphop set at Cafe' Royal as one of the winner's of The London City Showcase (2007), to the more recent performance of Funky House anthem (Mr Seduction) in Reflex night club (Belgium) or London's Ministry of sounds .Its fair to say that Lil’ London is a seasoned performer!
“Diversity and original”, are just some of the responses to her releases. From her Warner brothers released Garage track, Again & Again - Produced by Dj Paleface and remixed by both Low Deep & Flukes (Crazy Cousinz) to the collaboration with Latin-Clan on The Reaggaeton all stars compilation .Its clear that she is not shy of experimentation.
Lil’ London has worked alongside many great musicians and was previously a member of the Silva Bak Hip-hop/ R&B collective. Together they completed a video called Now Now which gained considerable airplay on Channel U. They also supported US act Joe Budden and performed on Sky TV’s Urban Nation as part of a competition hosted by All Saints Member Melanie Blatt .They won two weeks running!
Standing at just 5'2 with good looks and a cheeky smile, Lil' London's hard hitting rap lyrics and boisterous flows can most recently be sampled on the mixtape (A taste of London) that she released herself and features collaborations with some of the best rappers that the UK has to offer such as Plan.B, Big Cakes and Defenders L.O.S.
Branching out again, Lil' London recently produced, co-directed and styled the video for her sexy Funky House track Mr Seduction produced by former More Fire crew member Dj Seany.B. With husky, laid back vocals and a catchy sing along chorus, it’s no surprise that Mr Seduction gained so much support and airplay from leading underground Dj's and radio stations such as BBC 1Xtra, Kiss FM and Choice FM. …Mr Seduction was also remixed by JonEcash (Black Ops), Sami Sanchez and Mystic Matt.
Lil' London's most recent release 'Spot the blog' (Produced by 2B3 Records) gained alot of attention from major fashion heads such as (International style bible) Vogue, Harvey Nichols, Debenhams and many many more. this track is currently available to purchase via all good download sites.
The ever versatile entertainer has also recently become a host of a Sky TV music programme called The reggae showcase where she can be found interviewing artists of all genres for a segment that she calls Lil' London's Swagga of the week. And is continuing her burgeoning script writing and acting career following the success of her independent film appearances in: Hip hop opera, Enemy Friend, The Balance, Ghetto Fabulous and 49 Blue Lantern.
Lil' London is also the C.E.O of Swaggability . A multimedia empire!
