Let's see!!. We started Lower Class Kids in 2001. Yeah, We're not kids anymore but. I guess we never thought that far ahead when we named the band! All of us grew up together in La Puente. We grew up listing to punk bands such as. Well the list could go on for ever!! We have always been open minded when it comes to music. Yeah, we know! We're not that punk!! Anyway, if you have ever seen us live you know we don't take ourselves serious! We have always been a DIY band! We've never been signed and we're not holding our breaths!! Our sound has been compared to The Angry Samoans, Minor Threat and early NOFX. Give us a listen or come to a show and let us know if we ruined your day!! We've had the pleasure of playing with so many great local bands from punk to rockabilly to ska and more!! We've had the chance to play places like Las Vegas, San Diego and New Ark. In late 2008 we decided to take a brake from the band and to do our own things. We are glad we did! We started 2 projects and learned a lot from them! Although these projects are not punk, we want you to know that LCK has not been watered down one bit!! Getting back together after over a year felt great!! We feel like born again virgins!! We're ready to do more damage this time around!! We plan to write new songs and play more out of town shows!! So grab your beer, grab a pair of clean underwear and come join us in the pit!!
