Lost Soul began his journey during the golden era of Hip Hop which was a troubled time in New York City history and it was after only one conversation with promoter, producer, and activist Paradise that he had joined the Blackwatch Movement in the early 90's. There he had learned and even traveled with then hip hop greats and now legends including X-Clan, Isis (Lin-Que), Professor-X, Queen Mother Rage, Treadonya, YZ, & Just-Ice.
Later he spent several years as a member of Da Last Suppah along with Master Juice, Jay Da Villain, Phase One, & Da 7 Divine and recorded several demos both with the group and on his own from 1994 to 2000. Lost Soul even earned an unsigned artist feature on a show called "Home Jams" at New York radio station HOT 97 as two of the songs featured "Dark Days" and "Microphone Dreams" were from his first but unreleased album called "Tales Of A Lost Soul."
After a several year hiatus in 2004 he began working with producer Sir Kapital and recorded several songs that eventually caught the ears of both local hip hop video show host Lord Bless of Bless me Videos and internet radio show personality Big Murph. One song that caught their attention was the remake of the 1983 summer time classic "Games People Play" which created a online buzz that was cut short after the death of his brother in 2006.
In 2007 Lost Soul was then contacted by the group Brother Hood 603 (Thanos & Arewhy) and they began working on new music that seemed to appear online on an almost weekly basis and has appeared on two of the groups mixtape releases "Grand Theft Audio" & "International Murda 2." In May 2010 Lost Soul released the album "Dreams Die Hard" featuring production by Brother Hood 603, Gambit, Sir Kapital, and Souniek.
The album also spawned two singles both with videos the first which was called "We Don't Play" which featured Thanos & Arewhy and the second called "The Night I Died" both videos were directed by Kareem Bland with both singles being produced by Thanos. Both have since aired on Video Music Box the legendary music video show which is also the first dedicated exclusively to Hip Hop artist both signed and unsigned as it enters it's 30th year on the air.
Lost Soul will soon release the first single off his new album called "Feast Or Famine" which features R&B songstress Caroline Peppers and was produced by Sir Kapital. The new album which is entitled "Poetic Resurrection" is scheduled for a late 2012 release and will once again feature production by Brother Hood 603, Gambit, Sur Kapital, and one of the final tracks produced by Souniek who passed away suddenly in early 2012.
