Jose is not the singer of the band, nor music director neither the producer.
In fact, Jose does not even play in the band. Jose is a good friend of them who likes their music since they started.



The band is from Mexico City. It is composed by seven musicians: drums,bass,
guitar, trumpet, saxophone, percussion, piano and another saxophone. It is difficult to categorize their music because it is not rock or jazz or funk itself. The truth is that the songs change abruptly, a song can take different directions. Each track is a journey in itself, with a beginning, middle, sometimes further development and, often, two or three
finals. Los Musicos de Jose makes party music with a real proposal.



Los Musicos de Jose are a band of close friends who began playing together
in high school, since then they have been prepared in prestigious schools of music in the city. While it has matured, the band has maintained the momentum and fun beloved by his high school years, and have gained greater technical sophistication.



ESPAÑOL.Desde 1995, Los Músicos de José hacen una poderosa música instrumental parecida al funk, dirigida a los pies, las tripas y los dos hemisferios del cerebro. Música divertida y bailable, pero clavada y con búsqueda. Música orgánica, viva y robusta, ideal para estos tiempos post laptop; con un discurso comprometido que es refrescante en medio de las
formulas musicales preestablecidas y la frivolidad que se vive en los escenarios y fiestas actuales.



José no es el cantante de la banda, ni el director musical, ni el productor, ni el caimán. De hecho, José ni siquiera toca en la banda. José es un buen amigo del grupo al que le gusta la música de la banda desde que ésta inició, si lo ven saludenlo de nuestra parte.



La banda radica en México, D.F. Está compuesta por siete músicos: batería, bajo, guitarra, trompeta, sax alto, percusiones, piano y otro saxofón. Es difícil catalogar la música que hacen pues no es rock, ni jazz, ni propiamente funk. Lo cierto es que las canciones cambian abruptamente, una misma rola se desarrolla en diferentes direcciones. Cada pista es un viaje en sí misma, con un principio, un desarrollo, a veces otro desarrollo y, a menudo, dos o tres finales. Los Músicos de José hacen música de reventón con una verdadera propuesta musical.
