Born September 17th, Lord Vital (da BEAST) always was surrounded by music since he can remember. Raised in Bedstuy, Brooklyn with a full household, Vital learned how to be a role model to the younger siblings while being taught to follow the older ones. With his father playing the African drums and his mother playing the piano this made the music he listened to very diverse. Vital started rapping in the early 90's going through different phases as the times changed. He then met with a producer by the name Dave who saw something in him that he didn't see. He later brought Vital to Hilltop Studio where they began Vital's transformation from rapper to artist. This is where he learned about making music that stretched pass the ears of his peers. Music that the world can relate to. By doing so he began to write music that would later be express through the voice of others, other artist like Cold Chillin' Records recording group T.C.F., Songlist, Leeia Music, Logan of MY FAM and other artists that he surrounds himself with. He is a vital part of a lot of people. His work speaks for itself on and off the mic. He has performed in all types of shows and events with a growing fan base, Justins, Upper Manhattan, Club Speed, Remote Lounge,Bowery Poetry Club, Downtime, Don Hills, S.O.B's, Club Cheetahs just to name a few. But Vital isn't the type of person you would want to read about, this is somebody you would have to experience to find out what makes him so…vital.
