Lo Polidoro

Born in Burgundy of French and Italian parents, I grew up in rural central France, in a house full of singing of my mother and sisters.

After a few years of performing in bars and cafes with my sister Aurelie, I made a sudden decision to move to London and, within a few months, met a network of musicians who inspired me to learn finger style guitar and to begin writing songs. I also discovered the octave mandola.

After 4 years playing with Martin Brown, Mick Halewood and Kirsten Hammond, we have decided to extend the band by adding 3 new members: Simon Cowderoy(bass);Les Morgan(drums) and Brian Foley(Saxophones). Everyone plays on the new album. It has been a real adventure recording with Gary J Brady at his studio Escapade Music in Greenwich.

I also perform with Fleur de Paris.

I left Circulus a few months ago as we were rather busy it was hard for me to concentrate on my new album. I had a great time with them during the 5 years I was in the band, I shan't forget how much I have learnt being in Circulus.Lo x
